October 5: Today marks the 65th birthday of the world’s most fucked up author & horror movie director, the one and only Clive Barker. On the incredibly unlikely off chance he’s reading this (he won’t be), many happy returns big guy. Thanks for Hellraiser! You the bomb.

He also wrote and directed Nightbreed and Lord of Illusions. Candyman, The Midnight Meat Train, and Rawhead Rex are also among the adaptations of Barker’s work.
